'Thorn' Dragon sculpture | completed January 26
This project was an opportunity to use our favourite skills to create anything of our choosing! Thorn is polysculpted, with a wooden and aluminium armature. The skin is epoxy clay, every scale meticulously sculpted by hand! The wings are Worbla stretched and formed to create a realistic skin look.

Anubis Puppet | completed October 24
This project's goal was to create an 'accurate' god from any religion as a muppet style puppet! My Anubis puppet has weighted ears for expression, removable accessories and posable arms! The head was sculpted first in wet clay, then I made a pattern of the shape and translated it to Plastizote.

'Warren' the wendigo | completed May 24
This project brief required an automata or moving model that portrays a key moment in a piece of pre-1900s world folklore; the wendigo took six weeks, including planning and building. Materials include - milliput, MDF, aluminium wire and static flock.

'Marcus' the tarantula | completed January 24
Marcus is one of 2 products from an eight week model-making project in which I created tabletop game pieces with a backstory in the Hunger Games universe. The tarantula is primarily made of aluminium wire and milliput. He stands on an MDF base.

Giant garlic | completed December 23
This giant garlic measures 500mm by 500mm and is part of my poly carving/theatre prop project. It's made of polystyrene, coated in scrim and flint, then paper mache. This is also my first attempt at airbrushing.

Wooden shield bug | completed October 23
This project was an introduction to woodwork, one of my first university projects. It required the creation of a realistic, giant bug made entirely of wood, mostly pine and dowel. This project took three weeks.

Cordyceps evolution | completed June 23
This project was a three-month artistic project in which I had free reign. I chose to explore what it would be like if different mushrooms infected mammals in the style of a real-life fungus called Cordyceps. It consists of four main sculptures, many accompanying illustrations, and some mushrooms that I preserved myself to add to the exhibition. The sculptures are aluminium and polymer clay, the illustrations are alcohol ink. See the full collection on Instagram.
